The Sympto-Thermal Method for Conception
There is a short window of fertility in each menstrual cycle wherein pregnancy can occur. Your body’s ability to achieve and maintain a pregnancy depends on a variety of factors, some of which can be identified and addressed through charting with the Sympto-Thermal Method (STM).
Some of these are:
Exactly when/if ovulation is occurring. This allows you to accurately time sex for conception. If you are having sex outside of the fertile window, conception is not possible.
Cervical mucous production. Sperm needs fertile mucous for survival and transportation to the ovum/egg. This fertile mucous needs to be produced leading up to and during ovulation.
Sufficient luteal length for implantation to occur. The luteal length is the time between ovulation and the next period. If this is too short, fertilisation may occur but the next period may start before implantation is complete.
Lifestyle factors impacting fertility. The consultations include an in depth health history and preconception care checklist.

Learning the STM prior to conception can help couples to optimise their health and hormones for a healthy pregnancy. For those who are facing fertility challenges, it offers foundational knowledge and simple solutions that can save a lot of time, money and stress.
